**********Contains Spoilers***********I thoroughly enjoyed this collection. Each book in this collection is reviewed separately.Under His Embrace - Link is in a really bad place due to losing his family and his best friend and intended mate Bryan when they were m*rdered by the Protectors of Pure who were getting rid of packs by poisoning them with a form of hemlock on organic vegetables. Fritz felt a connection to Link as soon as he was brought to Hope to live with the Bears but didn’t do anything about it as he was aware that he’d lost so much and was struggling, after the final attacked by the Protectors of Pure where Chuey, Jaesun and Link as well as the babies were k*dnapped at g*n point and ended up being shot by the same bullet as they were all piled on top of each other.Link couldn’t cope anymore and wanted to leave Hope and to to Sibelius’s hybrid pack in New York City as part of their exchange programme, to say that Fritz isn’t happy is an understatement and ends up storming out of the meeting when both Roscoe and Ryder give Link their blessing to go and it seemed like he didn’t even go see Link off at the bus stop but he was just hiding in the bushes as he couldn’t face Link to say goodbye, as soon as he’s left Fritz feels like something is missing so he hops on his bike and ends up beating Link to New York City and meets him in Grand Centre station before going to HybridCorp to see what their assignments is, Sibelius is an artist with manipulating people, Fritz isn’t happy when he gives Link a box of the personal items from his family farm and when he opens the box there’s a photo of Bryan on top so Fritz calls Sibelius on his sh*t, and that he did it on purpose as he knew what Link’s reaction would be and then Sibelius tells him maybe it’s not Link’s reaction I was after.Sibelius tells them that they should go to their hotel to unpack but because he was only expecting Link there is only one bed, and then tells them he’ll meet them at midnight at Break to give them their assignment while they’re in New York. Link isn’t very excited to go to Break as he knows that it’s a B*SM club and Fritz has been there before and enjoyed himself, Sibelius only said a few words to them and that was that and then tells them to enjoy some food and a few drinks for free. Russ and his boy come over to their table to chat and since Russ’s boy can tell that Link isn’t enjoying himself he offers him HEX which is a drug produced by the dragon’s that isn’t addictive. Fritz is planning on turning it down but then Link takes one so he decides to do it as well, they end up feeling completely weightless and worry free and dancing together then they both notice a man at the bar staring at them both, he walks over to them and asks if they should get out of there. It’s Crius and since he’s a dragon he recognises the signs when someone is on HEX and that he wants to protect them so he takes them back to his hotel and tucks them in bed then sits in a chair by their bedside to watch over them.Their relationship has a lot of issues to work through as they all feel unworthy and that they’d be better off in a couple than the three of them but when they finally all get it through their skulls that they wouldn’t work if it was only two of them and that they all need each other, its really beautiful. Link doesn’t feel like he deserves to be alive and starts thinking that he should just take the cure, Fritz thinks that he doesn’t deserve them because he’s guilty and selfish that he’s happy that Bryan isn’t alive as then they can be free to love Link and Crius died when he tried to stop his ex-fiancé and best friend Elby who was a vessel for the Dark One m*rderous rampage, he thought he’d be enough but he ended up dying even if he was brought back he still has bad feelings about that. Wow, the PoP are really amping up. I can’t wait to see what secret mission Orion is on with the Dragons and hopefully he finally gets his head out of his a*se and makes up with Wilder as he’d never done anything to warrant a cold shoulder for this long, also it’s Orion so we should expect trouble.Under His Enemy - This book was by far my favourite, at times it was pretty hard to read due to all the hate without knowing all the facts on shifters. I also found it pretty sad because of Falcon. Orion is sent on a secret mission by the Dragons which is to infiltrate the PoP and to work out what new weapon do they have so he can try and destroy it, I think originally the PoP was a good cause but due to hatred and a lack of understanding it got warped into a terr*rist group.Orion being Orion and knowing that the PoP is against someone being gay, or maybe it’s because he knows he wont meet anyone for awhile since he’s going undercover with the PoP, he goes out to a club before heading to the PoP regional headquarters the next day to start his training. He’s taken dr*gs to dilute his hybrid traits as they don’t know what the PoP have to detect shifters so it’s best to be safe, he sees a guy sitting at the bar and is instantly intrigued by him but because he doesn’t have his extra sensors he can smell his scent, it ends up being Crow and they spend the night together. Crow is still thinking about it but knows that nothing can happen. He’s recently been promoted to recruit trainer for the PoP and his dad started PoP to protect humans against shifters, it didn’t help that Crow and Falcon’s parents were both m*rdered by shifters, that’s when the PoP’s vision changed to what it is now.When he goes to meet the ten new recruits he’s evaluating each new recruit and then sees Rin as Orion told him his name was when they met at the club, Crow is freaking out as he doesn’t know if he’s been sent to blackmail him but decides to see what happens as let him train. Trust Orion to meet the enemy before his undercover mission and could destroy all the hard work. Orion and Crow have quite a few ‘slip ups’ during training that shouldn’t happen.Their connection and chemistry is off the charts. Orion finally works out why he’s so drawn to Crow and that they’re mates, he can’t leave him with the PoP as he could be pregnant with their child and look what the PoP tried to do with Jaesun, he’s got an uphill battle on his hand to try and get Crow to accept him and that not all shifters are ‘beasts’ they’re just like humans but have extra sensors and just like some humans there are bad ones. There’s a lot of learning on both sides to find a way forward. In the end Crow’s twin brother Falcon came through for him and his nephew he even learnt how to do male c-sections just incase Crow needed help. He was a hero when it counted. I’m looking forward to the final book to not only get to find out more about Sibelius but to see what happens with the PoP.Under His Everything - Sibelius is hybrid alpha billionaire d*m, his work life wouldn’t run as smoothly if he didn’t have his human assistant Griffith. Bel rescued Griff and Cass from his sadistic brother Shiva who had held Griff and Cass hostage as slaves that he’d do anything too, under the guise of BD*M training. Cass, a hybrid was only 17 and as soon as he turned 18 Bel took him under his wing so he could learn the right way to be a d*m but since Griff was human Bel just offered him a job so he could be close to him but safe, as Griff is Bel’s mate which Bel has faught claiming for years, he didn’t realise that Griff could feel the signs and knew that they were mates, it all came out when Bel was trying to manipulate Griff into going back to New York City where he was safe as this war doesn’t concern him. Griff put his foot down and told Bel that he’s staying but he resigns as his assistant. I loved getting snippets of everyone else but it was also sad what everyone goes through in this book all because the PoP hate Shifters and want to k*ll them all. I think Griff is perfect for Bel as he isn’t afraid to say whatever he wants to Bel and stand up for himself. Their connection and chemistry is off the charts when Bel finally allows himself to be with his mate and omega. The reason Bel hasn’t ever claimed Griff is because of him being a d*m himself and worries that he’s exactly like his brother Shiva since a lot of the stuff that he wants to do to Griff could remind him of what Shiva put him through. I loved seeing a more softer mellower side of Bel and I loved getting to see him interact with the children. I think this was an awesome ending to this universe, I’m just sad that there are no more books but Kiki has a few more series that I haven’t read yet like the Wolves of Walker County and the Wolves of Royal Paynes.I’d definitely recommend this collection, each book in the series and author to everyone. This series was one of the best and hardest for me to read. Loved ones found, lost , rescued, killed, saved. Enemies becoming allies. Allies becoming enemies, both willfully and not. This series was amazing and made me laugh and cry more than I ever have before.
